How Do I Create a Connection for iKit2000?
To create a connection for the iKit2000 Development Board
in Windows 95/98 Dial-Up Networking, do the following:
Double-click
My Computer.

Double-click
Dial-up Networking.
If
Dial-Up Networking is not present, it must be installed.

Double-click
Make New Connection.

Under
Type a name for the computer you are dialing, enter iKit2000.
From
the Select a device drop-down, choose Generic NULL Modem. Click
Next.
If
Generic NULL Modem is not available on the list, it must be installed.

Under
Type the phone number for the computer you want to call, enter an
arbitrary Area code and Telephone number. Click Next.
Even
though the number is not actually used (any number will suffice), a phone
number is required in these fields.

Click
Finish. The iKit2000 connection will appear in the Dial-Up
Networking window.
